Location

The town Písek with its 30. 000 inhabitants lies in the south bohemian region on the river Otava. Like many other cities in the Czech republic has Písek  many centuries of history - founded in the year 1243 - and together with the town Český Krumlov belongs to the most beautiful ones of the region. Features in foreground of the city are the gothic church in the Old town and stone bridge, the oldest standing bridge in the Bohemia from 13. century.

Accommodation and Catering

 

The hockey hall is adjacent to the sport hotel, which has accommodation capacity of over 100 beds in the triple rooms with their own showers and toilets. Meals are served in the restaurant situated close to the hotel.

Entertainment 

Písek has a varied infrastructure, whether in term of shopping or restaurants, cafes and pubs.  There is particularly nice seating area in the cosy small cafeterias and confectionaries in the Old town. Interested persons in fun later in the evening and at night can go into the club "Cadillac" at the disco. It is possible to also visit the biggest city of the region of south bohemia České Budějovice, which is from Písek 50 km away.
